President's Message

Happy New Year! Welcome to 2021!

As we begin this new year, it is certainly with optimism, and in the case of APICS, change! We are now officially ASCM North Texas.

For North Texas members, this change is for the most part a change in name only. We will still continue to operate as we have in the past. We will offer the latest APICS training course including CPIM, CSCP, and CLTD certification review courses, as well as SCOR-P and Demand Driven Institute courses and seminars. We will continue to have Professional Development Meetings, Networking events, professional and community service opportunities for our members as we have in the past. We also welcome any new ideas and input from our membership.

We are optimistic that soon we will be able to return to in person gatherings and more normal operations, with the proper precautions in place. This is something that I feel is important for our members in general and for the good of the Chapter.

We are excited about this change and look forward to engaging with you in new ways in the months to come. In the meantime, if you have any questions or needs we can address, please feel free to contact us at [email protected]

ASCM North Texas Chapter Response to COVID19

The health and safety of our members, guests, and community is our top priority. Considering the current COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on our community, the ASCM North Texas Chapter Board of Directors has made the following decisions regarding our current and future programs, effective immediately:

  • ALL APICS Certification Review Courses will transition from in-person courses to virtual online courses. Face-to-face classes will resume as soon as it is safe to do so.
  • Professional Development Meetings will be transitioned to an online virtual meeting/webinar format. Details will be shared and posted on the website. We will resume traditional Professional Development Meetings as soon as able.
  • Chapter Board will be conducted virtually until safe to resume in-person meetings.

We will continue to monitor the conditions and the recommendations of the CDC.  Please continue to network and share with our community via NTX ASCM LINKEDIN

Congratulations ASCM North Texas Chapter!
